Candle Care Instructions
- When lighting a wooden wick candle the best technique is to tilt it on an angle and let the flame draw across the length of the wick.
- The first time you light your candle, allow the melted wax pool to reach the edge of the container. This is typically achieved within 2-3 hours of burning. Soy wax has a “memory” doing this will keep the candle from tunneling down the center of the container.
- For optimal burn keep your wooden wick clean and trimmed to about 1/8”-1/4”long.
- Keep the candle away from drafts to ensure an even burn.
- Never burn for longer than 4hrs.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from pets, children, or flammable surfaces.
- When extinguishing, just cover the candle with lid. Do not blow it out.
By following these instructions, you can help your wooden wick candle burn evenly and last longer.
Reed Diffuser Care Instructions
- Place the reed diffuser in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Add the reed sticks to the diffuser bottle, after one hour, flip the reed sticks to make sure they are fully saturated with the scented oil.
- Spread your reeds out as much as possible to let air circulate between them. Allow up to 24 hours for the fragrance to fully diffuse.
- Flip the reed sticks every few days (weekly) to help distribute the scent evenly. Our diffuser can last up to 20 weeks depending on air conditions it is placed in.
- Keep away from pets, children, or flammable surfaces.
- Our premium rattan reeds can last up to six months, but after the first month you may notice the scent starting to fade. This is because dust and other impurities can start to clog up the reed over time, which hinders the fragrance oil from diffusing properly.
- For best results, we recommend switching out your diffuser reeds every 2 to 3 months.
By following these instructions, you can help your reed diffuser work effectively and maintain its scent for a longer period of time.
